We believe that socialization, social action and fellowship among Jewish children complements the formal learning that takes place at home and in the school. We offer youth activities for all ages that will serve to connect the children to the shul, each other, and the larger Jewish community.
Chaverim – (K-4th grade) – Once each month stay after Hebrew school on a Sunday to celebrate and hang out with your HZT friends.
Kadima – (5th-7th grades) – Every month gathering either at HZT to do a social action or social program or with adolescents from other area shuls as part of the national Kadima network of youth groups.
USY – (8th-12th grades) – a chapter of the national United Synagogue Youth movement. meetings, gatherings, conventions and more.
