Experience the joy and tradition at Har Zion Temple’s Abiri-Jean Torah Dedication, where we’ll celebrate the completion of a new Torah scroll, written by our community members under the guidance of Rabbi Yochanan Salazar and generously donated by the Abiri-Jean family. The event will feature dancing, a procession, and a ceremony welcoming the new Torah into our sanctuary. We are so excited to welcome Rabbi David Wolpe, the esteemed and nationally recognized Rabbi, as our Guest Scholar.

The weekend will consist of a special Friday evening Shabbat dinner following services, an Extended Kiddush, after Saturday morning Shabbat services and a Sunday morning program.

The well-known Wolpe brothers, Dr. Steven, Dr. Paul, and Rabbi Daniel will join their brother as they return to Har Zion Temple, their childhood congregation where their father, Gerald I. Wolpe z’l was our beloved Senior Rabbi for many decades.
