Our community embraces all of those who want to share in the joy of baby namings, wedding anniversaries, birthdays and B'nai and B'not Mitvah. We are also there to support those members who are observing the yahrzeits of loved ones. If you would like to have an aliyah, please contact Rabbi Alpert.
Lilmod U'Lelamed (To Learn and to Teach) – Learning Service
Are you looking to deepen your prayer experience? Do you seek a better understanding of the Siddur and the Jewish practice of prayer? Then Lilmod Ul’lamed is for you! Every other Shabbat morning at 9:45 AM, we will join together for Shaharit services to explore the prayer book, expand our spirituality and raise our voices in song and conversation.
Kol Mishpacha (The Voice of Family) – Shabbat Morning Family Service
Come celebrate as a whole family to sing, dance, play, and explore Shabbat together. Beginning 11:15 AM every other Shabbat morning, our service will focus on the joy of Shabbat and being together as family. We will have our own Kiddush before joining the rest of the congregation for refreshments and socializing.
Tefilot Noar – Teen Service
Calling all post-B’nai Mitzvah teens! We want you to be a part of our new teen-led service! Join us for a service consisting of spiritual davening, 'hot topic' discussions and what Judaism has to say about them, and a chance to shmooze with your peers. Taking place 10:30 AM every other week, this is the place to be on Shabbat mornings!
Designed for our children in grades 1-7, this service aims to get our children comfortable with the Shabbat service by active participation using our very own kid-friendly Siddur. Children will pray, learn, laugh and love being in shul. Every other week at 10:30 AM in the Dogole Chapel.
Parashat HaShavua (Shabbat Torah Study)
At 11:00 AM following the Learning Service will be an opportunity to study the weekly Torah portion with a rotating group of teachers including our Clergy and others.
Babysitting takes place every week beginning at 9:30 AM.

Study Talmud in the Rudofker Library one hour before Minha.

Join the Har Zion Clergy for brief study between Minha and Maariv.
