Come Learn with Har Zion Temple
At Har Zion Temple, we encourage learning at all ages. From our tottering toddlers to our more mature members, there is truly something for everyone. Our clergy makes themselves available for one-on-one learning sessions, as well as learning in small groups. We gather to learn throughout the community - in our synagogue, at the University of Pennsylvania, in congregants' offices and in their homes. At Har Zion, we know the journey toward knowledge is one with many roads and we strive to give all our members the opportunity to travel the one that is most comfortable for their individual fulfillment.
Our youngest learners can take advantage of the wonderful educational programs suited to their needs at The Noreen Cook Center for Early Childhood Education and our Day Camp. As the children grow as learners, they can become part of our award winning The Jane Fishman Grinberg Religious School which includes elementary school through middle school as well as Hebrew High School and The A.M. Ellis Midrasha.
We are also very proud of our Madregot program for special learners. Here at Har Zion Temple we strive to include children of differing abilities and this program is suited to the individual needs of each child.
Adults can continue their education through the Fishman Institute and a variety of ongoing Learning Opportunities. We are also proud to offer a wonderful collection of Judaic literature in our Rudofker Library that is accessible to our members.
