Come Connect at Har Zion

Our auxiliary groups engage our members in activities and projects that are far reaching and we pride ourselves in the way we connect with congregants of all generations. Our Sisterhood, a long standing and supportive group of women, is always reaching out to engage members of any age. Members are encouraged to come to meetings throughout the year, participate in trips of interest, learn in the many classes that we have and actively involve themselves in acts of tzedukah. Our Z'havah group that targets our women who are future leaders, offers a fabulous book club, activities and the very popular Shabbat Schmooze. Monday Night Football gatherings, services at Brith Shalom House and softball will lead you right to the door of our Men's Club. An active, multi-generational, group of men are always looking for ways to get together, build community and learn. The parent support groups at Har Zion offer our parents an opportunity to be involved with our schools. We encourage you to join the HSA of The Noreen Cook Center for Early Childhood Education or the PTA of the Jane Fishman Grinberg Religious School. Our Youth Groups, including our award winning USY, offer activities that are fun, engaging and even educational! They welcome your participation. On the other end of the spectrum, our Active Adults plan monthly meetings and lunches that are second to none. All in all we know we offer something for everyone. Our Mitzvah Projects include the Caring Community, Tikkun Olam Committee (repairing the world), College Outreach and Community Outreach where our congregants have the opportunity to work within and beyond our walls.
There are many Committees that are ready to welcome your participation. When you find something in which you might be interested, you can send an email to hzt@harziontemple.org or call 610-667-5000 and speak with our Executive Director, Gavi Miller.
